Nice sunny day in Felixstowe and wasn't expecting to go windsurfing today with the stronger winds forecast for tomorrow but after walking down to the beach this morning there was a nice onshore breeze so I hitched the trailor and headed down to The Dip after lunch. I rigged the 9.4 on the raceboard and set off to the docks on a broad reach - sadly the wind was too light to plan, on reaching the River Orwell I turned and the beat back was better making it into the straps. It was nice ti sail the five mile along Felixstowe seafront in the sunshine but still very chilly and when I got back to The Dip after an hour my hands were painfully cold :( With the tide getting high and the wind dropping off I packed up - with the wind from the west tomorrow it could be a trip to Levington ?
